You haven't eaten all day. I KNOW you're starving. Go eat.
Me:
*taken back because no one's ever confronted me like that, and he was so firm and unquestioning about it*
Uncle:
*clearly ready to make a big deal of it if I don't agree to eat something*

...I still don't know what happened. I haven't seen or talked to him in four years. But I felt so cared for in that moment. I wish he knew how much it meant to me.
